"The 70mm 6-track sound mix used for this AC-3 disc was mixed for SENSURROUND release as a test because Fox was considering adopting the MCA SENSURROUND Special Effects System after the failure of their "Sound 360" system. However Fox decided to go with the cheaper Dolby Stereo System instead, but the 70mm SENSURROUND mix was still used with some theaters employing SENSURROUND horns for their 70mm showings. Thus, this disc has deep, infrasonic bass that isn't present in any other video release. It also has some different music cues making it a one of a kind version of the film. The 2 channel Dolby Stereo MP Matrix surround mix on the LD's digital tracks was monitored using the modified Tate DES surround decoding system." - LDDB
